Morgan starred on a video about AIDS education and prevention, Safe Sex for Men and Women. A portion of the proceeds was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan serves as a participant of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the main force behind numerous fund-raising efforts for the spread of the disease. She also spoke before an Congressional special committee on AIDS education. She sits on the Board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop asked her several times to assume his place in AIDS events. In addition, she hosted a AIDS Awareness Special with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell asked her to be on two occasions on Nightline regarding AIDS. Morgan is nominated to be one of the Emmy winner for Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written especially for Morgan. In the spring, she appeared as Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. Then, she began the summer season by appearing in Murder At The PTA Luncheon created by Von Zeerneck/Sertner. It also had Cindy Williams and Marla gibbs. The next part of her project took Morgan to Luxembourg, where she starred as Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan has also been featured in a psychological thriller produced for USA Network. The film was a huge success and received the greatest ratings of all time.
