Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo, an American actor and author. She started her career with the soap operas for daytime viewers like One Life to Live and Guiding Light and in later seasons, had various guest roles on primetime television. Andrea Navedo was born 10 October 1977 at The Bronx New York United States. Navedo started her career as an actor in soap operas for daytime TV. Navedo was in the ABC soap drama One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. In 1999, she was Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. In 1996, she appeared in only a small role of Girl 6 and then went on to appear in New York Undercover. In 2001, Navedo played a supporting role in the action comedy movie Double Take and the following year, in the drama film Washington Heights. From 2001 to 2004 Navedo played a regular role on the NBC Crime series Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. The character was later featured as a character in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages, Blue Bloods and Blue Bloods. Navedo starred in many other films as well including El Cantante or Remember Me. Navedo was on How to Make It in America Golden Boy, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit from 2011 until 2013 and also. Superfast! is a film where Navedo was the lead. The Fast and the Furious films were mocked in the 2015 movie. Navedo's career in the field began with daytime soaps. Between 1995 and 1997, she played Linda Soto in the ABC soap show One Life to Live. She was also cast in Guiding Light, a CBS soap opera, as Theresa Sandoval. Her first film appearance was in the role of a minor character Girl 6 (1996). She then guest-starred on seasons of New York Undercover, The District and The District. Navedo made her debut in film in Girl 6 (1996) and later guest-starred on episodes of New York Undercover and The District.
