Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha - better known as Gugu - is a British stage and film actress. She gained fame after appearing on the BBC's Doctor Who' British science fiction television series. Gugu scored a huge hit on the show, as she played Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. Gugu was a lively charismatic personality that was greatly appreciated by viewers. Chelsea Joy Handler was conceived on the 25th of February, 1975, in Livingston New Jersey. She was the eldest of six children within her family. Her mother is German who immigrated to her home in United States from Germany in 1958. The cancer of the breast was first discovered in the year 1989. Her death came a decade after battling cancer. Handler's dad was Jewish so she raised to Reform Judaism. Handler was raised in a safe neighborhood and enjoyed a pleasant childhood. In her early twenties, Handler relocated in Los Angeles in order to take on acting. Handler was a professional actress in order to help her. But, at age 21, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy full time, as she was able to discover her storytelling talents. At the beginning of her career Handler started out her profession as part of the Oxygen network all-female cast for the hidden camera/comedy reality show on TV called Girls Behaving Badly. This reality TV show ran from 2002-2005. The handler worked on numerous other shows including Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show My Wife and Kids, The Practice as well as Weekends at D.L. Handler worked on The Tonight Show for a while as a correspondent. Handler received her first big break when she hosted her E! Show in 2006. named The Chelsea Handler Show. The show lasted during two consecutive seasons. Handler then performed in America in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour.
